[OFFICIAL] MOMO’S PHYSICS V6.0.1 MOD

(Momo Physics version 6.x, 5.x, 4.x, 3.x, 2.x are different series. They are not a sequel to each other. Each one has their own unique characteristic. Choose one that suits your taste.)

CONCEPT
We all know that one of the major issues in ETS2 is the steering problems – oversteering and sensitivity that make the truck feel unstable. This is due to the incorrect calculation of the steering ratio, turning angle, and turning radius in the vanilla physics (and most other mods as well) when compared to real-life trucks. SCS acknowledges this issue, which is why they provide the “Non Linearity” option to compensate for it. However, even with this option, it is still difficult to find the correct setting, often leading to more problems. The steering never feels realistic in your hands.
As a fan of ETS2, I refused to give up after my previous 5 physics mods that were just okay. I secretly worked and tested Physics 6 for over a month, hoping to create the most realistic physics mod possible. I even studied some geometry calculations of cars and trucks on my own. Now, I (think I) have successfully addressed the steering issues and am confident enough to share this mod with you.

FACTS
Did you know that:
– Real-life trucks have a turning radius of 12.8 meters, while vanilla ETS2 trucks only have 8.75 meters?
– Real-life trucks’ steering wheel can turn 4.9 times lock to lock, whereas your conventional 900 degree wheel can only turn 2.5 times?
– ETS2 vanilla trucks have a steering ratio of only 12:1 (minimum for standard cars), while real-life trucks have a much higher ratio?
– These are the causes of ETS2’s steering problem?

THIS MOD’S HIGHLIGHTED FEATURES
– Turning circle of 11.5 meters (real-life trucks’ 12.8).
– Realistic steering ratio close to real-life cars without using “Non Linearity” and without causing understeering.
– Smooth and precise steering close to real-life cars without sacrificing anything.
– Realistic cabin and seat movement.
– Realistic wheel suspensions (rear suspension is made softer to encourage cabin movement).
– Realistic cabin and suspension behavior when braking (the nose heavily pushes towards the ground with a heavy trailer attached).
– Realistic leaning to the left and right when taking sharp turns.
– This mod does not add much weight to the vanilla, it only adds the necessary weight to encourage the cabin and suspension behavior. So, the weight is still close to real-life trucks.

USER INSTRUCTIONS
To experience the full effect, you MUST do the following:
* These settings are only for 900 degree wheel users.
* For joypad/keyboard users, you need to try different settings.
– Set the steering sensitivity to 100%.
– Set the non-linearity to 0% – 35%.
– Set the trailer stability to 0%.
– Set the camera physics to 100%.
– Give this mod the top priority.
– Adjust your steering wheel bundle software to 50% sensitivity.

COMPATIBILITY
– Patch 1.30 compatible and may work for some older patches.
– Compatible with all SCS trucks, including the new Scania S & R.
– Compatible with RJL Scania R.
– Compatible with RTA Renault Range T.
– More modded trucks will be supported in the future.
