The Tachograph Plugin (AETR Rules) v0.9b for ETS2 has been updated with new features. It now includes analysis of weekly rests and compensations for reduced weekly rests. Rate settings for messages have also been added, allowing for customization. The default status string for version 0.9beta displays various time intervals related to driving and resting. The plugin now allows for user-defined status strings, which can be adjusted in the ini-file. A new log viewer program, AETRViewer.exe, has been included to browse ini-files as tachograms. Bug fixes have been implemented and sound effects have been added for yellow and red messages. The plugin also provides control over the duration of daily rest, 10-hour driving days, and driving hours during 1 and 2 weeks. However, control of weekly rest duration is still under construction. To adjust the appearance time of red and yellow messages, the ini-file can be modified. The plugin provides continuous feedback through game.log.txt messages displayed every game minute. To enable these messages in the game, the console must be enabled in the main game’s config.cfg file. The plugin controls short and daily rest stops based on AETR regulations. Other rules will be added in future updates.
