If you are experiencing issues with ferry travel in Promods + ETS2, there is a fix available. This fix addresses the problem with the port location in Gdansk and replaces it with Gdynia.

The fix is compatible with the following map mods: ProMods (1.98), Poland Rebuilding (1.98), South Korea (4.0-5.0), RusMap (1.4.8-1.5.2), Russian Open (2.3-2.4), China (Taiwan) (0.10-0.12), and EAA/EAABUS (2.8-2.9/1.6).

With this fix, you will have access to 131 new directions, including 262 ferry routes. However, please note that this fix requires the use of the aforementioned map mods.

The ferries will take you to various cities on the map, such as Torshavn in ProMods, Oslo in ProMods, Grimsby in ProMods, Gdynia in Poland Rebuilding, Nasca in South Korea, Lautun Marin in South Korea, Jacupiranga in South Korea, Icity1/3 in South Korea, Paso Stilveo in South Korea, Busan in South Korea, St. Petersburg in RusMap, Murmansk in Russian Open, Arkhangelsk in Russian Open, Arzamas16 in Russian Open, Novy Urengoy in Russian Open, Tainan in China, Taipei in China, Rio Grande in EAA/EAABUS, and Santos in EAA/EAABUS.

Please note that the ferry in Gdynia will work without Poland Rebuilding, but the other ferries require the corresponding map mods.

All ferries operate in both directions and do not require any payment or waste of time.

If you no longer wish to use the ferry, you can disable it by modifying the file name in the *connection* folder. Simply add a *sii* character to the end of the file name (e.g., change *gdansk_paso_cr.sii* to *gdansk_paso_cr.sii—*).

If you want to change the distance value, you can do so by editing the corresponding file in the *connection* folder. Simply replace the numbers after *price*, *time*, and *distance* with your desired values (e.g., change *price: 0 time: 0 distance: 0* to *price: 985 time: 125 distance: 2507*).

This fix should be placed above all the other map mods in your load order. It has been tested on version 1.21.1.4s but should also work on versions 1.18-1.22.
