The FREIGHTLINER ARGOSY 8X4 V3.0 Truck has been modified to transport superheavy cargo. It is adapted for the 1.19-1.21 patches and is based on the mod created by Irteza. The mod author is credited for this.
List of changes:
– The truck has been added to the dialer center and company.
– Replaced Caterpillar engines with Detroit Diesel engines.
– Real engine tuning options have been added, including Detroit DD16 500 ECU, Detroit DD16 560 ECU, Detroit DD16 600 ECU, Cummins ISX15 485 ECU, and Cummins ISX15 525 ECU.
– Real gearboxes SST-6 1362-C, FRW-15210B, RTLO-20913A, RTLO-22918B-AS have been added.
– Multiple skins have been included.
The truck’s chassis characteristics have been made as realistic as possible. Due to the game’s gearbox and drive axle registration system, we had to create identical gearboxes with different final drive ratios. The higher the differential ratio (D), the more thrust and less top speed.
The maximum trailer weight for the 6×4 configuration is 70 tons, for the 8×4 configuration is 90 tons, and for the 8×4 Heavy configuration is 200 tons.
The mod has been tested on versions 1.18-1.2.1.
The archive contains addons for the trailers from Jazzycat, such as Cargo Packs v3.6.1, Military Cargo Pack v1.7, and Railway Cargo Pack v1.7. These addons increase the mass of over 100 cargoes. You can download the main mods from the author’s website, Jazzycat.
Since the mod writer did not mention any restrictions or copyright issues, I believe that modifying and publishing modified versions of this mod does not violate any copyright laws, especially since the chassis was not altered. Only the specifications have been changed.
