This mod, called HARD GRAIN CONTRASTED RESHADE & SWEET FX, is a modified version of Real Road Project’s preset. I made some changes to it by removing all settings and adding more contrast and film grain.
If these changes don’t suit your preferences, you can manually adjust the settings in the SweetFX_settings.txt file located in the SweetFX folder. It’s a simple setup, but it can make a noticeable difference.
Since only shading, film grain, and technicolor 2 have been altered, the impact on performance is minimal. No additional anti-aliasing or effects are utilized, only the ones mentioned.
It’s important to note that this mod is compatible with the 32-bit (x86) version of Euro Truck Simulator 2. There’s no need to disable any in-game settings.
To toggle the Reshade feature, press F11. Additionally, if you want to capture a screenshot, press “prt sc”. The screenshots will be saved in your bin folder.
To install the mod, simply extract the contents of the .zip file and place them into the bin folder of your 32-bit Euro Truck Simulator 2 installation. The bin folder should contain the game’s executable.
