The latest version of the Sound Fixes Pack for Euro Truck Simulator 2 includes several improvements and fixes. Here are the highlights:
- Reduction of asphalt/tarmac tire noise to match modern trucks
- Some AI traffic trucks and buses now have a Cummins ISX engine sound
- Enhanced ambient sound volumes for RusMap 1.6.3 off-roading areas in ETS2
- Fixed rumble strip sound
- New seat belt click sound for after refueling or uncoupling the trailer
FEATURES:
The Sound Fixes Pack offers a range of features to enhance the audio experience in the game:
– Tires: improved sounds on different road surfaces
– Suspension: realistic sounds of cabin squeaking, key swinging, and cabin movement
– Replaced the “late music” with the Nokia phone ringtone sound
– Added “Bing bong” chime for train and ferry loading screens
– Reworked garage door sound
– Reduced volume of adviser message sound
– Slightly reduced volume of yawn for fatigue simulation
– Classic ding sound for fuel pumping, giving an idea of the refueling amount
– Realistic sound effects for fuel pump, fuel lid, door close, seat belt click, and key insertion after refueling
– Mix of stock and new gear grinding sounds for damaged transmission and gearbox
– Realistic sounds for parking brake, hazard light, blinker/indicator/turn signal, and light switch
– Retarder sound changed to real sound
– Lift axle sound includes button press sound effect in the interior
– Realistic sound effect for trailer coupling and trailer brake connection
– Driver Alert Support system sound installed on all trucks
– AI traffic vehicles have new horn sounds
– More variations of sounds for AI traffic trucks and buses
– Proper motorcycle engine sounds for Jazzycat’s AI traffic pack
– Motorcycles rev engine instead of using car horn when blocked
– Increased sound of vehicles overtaking or passing in the oncoming lane
– Wind sound increases at high speed
– Rain sounds audible inside the truck during heavy rain
– Louder and reworked audio for biplanes, trains (including train horn), helicopters, cable cars, and Boeing planes
COMPATIBILITY:
The Sound Fixes Pack is compatible with Euro Truck Simulator 2 version 1.23.1 and American Truck Simulator version 1.1.1. It is also forward-compatible with ATS version 1.2. The mod is fully stable and compatible with all trucks and maps. It can be used with other truck sound mods and Realistic Weather Sound 1.7.5 for realistic thunder and rain sounds. The mod installation requires placing it at the highest priority in the Mod Manager.
