Enhancing Traffic Density and Speed Limits in ETS 2 Version 1.22.X
This mod has been tested on the default map as well as the Promods map. It may also work with MHAPro, Poland Rebuilding, and other maps, although this has not been tested. The mod package consists of two mods that focus on increasing traffic density and adjusting speed limits.
The first mod, TrafficDensity_1_4, increases the density of traffic and raises the speed limits for all countries to 90 km per hour, except in the UK and Russia. In the UK, the speed limit on motorways is increased to 95 mph, and in Russia, it is increased to 110 kmph. Additionally, this mod adjusts the traffic density based on daytime, with more traffic during the day and less at night. The traffic balance is set as follows: 71% cars, 27% trucks, and 2% buses.
The second mod, TrafficDensityHarsh_1_4, includes all the features of TrafficDensity_1_4 but adds the ability for AI traffic to overtake on both single and double lines on the road. It also decreases the AI safety and patience, resulting in more aggressive traffic behavior.
