The VOLVO FH 2013 BY OHAHA V18.4.2S Mod is now available with version 18.4.2s. One of the notable fixes in this version is the resolution of the issue wherein the exhaust accessory was missing on traffic Volvo’s.
The mod comes with several features including new chassis variants such as 4x2B (lowered), 6x2C (lowered – non-liftable), 8x4A, 8x4B, 6×2 with lifted axle (mid and rear), and 6×2 Tandem (compatible* with Flemming V’s tandem trailers). It also includes various accessories such as a coolbox, cistern (chrome and paint), tipper (empty or full), and timber frame (empty or full). Additionally, all chassis versions support the addition of side skirts and exhausts.
The default truck offers several options for customization. You can now choose whether or not to include rear wheel arches (fenders) and customize them with plastic or paint. The cabin has been reworked to allow for a glass panel on the side, and the frames, suspensions, and headlights have all been improved. The mod also includes new types of projectors, custom mirrors with markers for small lights, stone guards, custom paint-jobs, custom vertical exhaust pipes, and more.
Other additions include a bonus paint-job DLC’s skin, high-bar roof grills for Globetrotter cabins, a roof bar for the Sleeper cabin, auxiliary fuel tanks (only visual), and new accessories such as side windows, wind deflectors, and painted sun-shields. There are also windshield and side windows decals, front and rear mud flaps in three color combinations, and custom taillights for the bumpers.
Engines in the mod are based on the real Volvo range, and there are hazardous materials transport signs available for the front upper engine grid. For the 8x4a chassis, there are crane covers and a crane accessory inspired by Palfinger. There is also a front bumper spoiler with high beam projectors.
Starting with version 12.5s, the front engine grids can be switched in the truck shop by looking for a marker called C_EQUIP. Version 13.1s reintroduces the default brushed metal finish, and version 17.4s features actual 3D meshes for the grids. Finally, version 18.4s includes an additional mod with two trailers for the tandem variant, namely the timber and tipper trailers.
There are some known issues with the mod, including the fact that choosing the glass panel on the sides of the cabin and windshield decals does not change the interior. Some of the accessories may also cause visible collisions with other parts, so it is up to the user to choose the correct combination. It is recommended to visit the Truck Shop and switch to the 4×2 chassis, removing all custom accessories before enabling a new version of the mod, and then reinstalling them again afterwards. Furthermore, using the tandem trailers additional mod will add them to your economy, so caution is advised when taking Quick Jobs to avoid attaching them to an incompatible chassis truck.
