Q: Do the map versions v0.98.5 and future versions require the DLC Scandinavia to run?
A: Yes, they do. This includes v0.98.5 and all future releases.
Q: Why does the map now require the DLC Scandinavia?
A: The map now uses prefabs and models from the DLC Scandinavia.
It is important to note that this is a work in progress map, so some areas on the map are not yet finished.
Compatibility:
– Since it is a standalone map, it is not compatible with any other map mods, but it is compatible with other mods, most likely. It has only been tested with graphic mods.
– Compatible with game versions 1.15-1.16 (v0.98, v0.981)
– Compatible with game version 1.17 (v0.98.5 hotfix), requires the DLC Scandinavia
– Compatible with game version 1.18 (v0.98.6), requires the DLC Scandinavia
– All future releases after v0.98.5 will require the DLC Scandinavia
Instructions for installation:
– Copy and paste these files into the mod folder, located in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod: NorthernScandinavia-def.scs, tzmap.scs, and NorthernScandinavia-map.scs
– Start a new profile
– Create your profile information
– Activate NorthernScandinavia-def.scs, tzmap.scs, and NorthernScandinavia-map.scs
– Set the game module to Test1.mdb, not europe.mdb, or the game will crash
