Q: Is the DLC Scandinavia required to run the map?
A: Yes, it is necessary to have the DLC Scandinavia for both v0.98.5 and future releases.

Q: Why is the map now requiring DLC Scandinavia?
A: The map now utilizes prefabs and models from the DLC Scandinavia.

Installation:

– The installation process is straightforward. If you already have my map mod, simply replace the three new files with the existing ones.
– Make sure to set the game module to “Test1.mdb”, not “europe.mdb”, as this is a standalone map that replaces the original map. Otherwise, the game will crash.

Bugs fixed in v0.981:

– Resolved an issue with an invisible wall at the gas station near the intersection to Stille Dal/Alstad.
– Fixed the truck dealer at Fauske.
– Cleared the blockade at the intersection near the harbor in Bodø.

Known bugs:

– The map’s location.
– Incorrect value when passing toll stations.
– Rain in some tunnels.

Compatibility:

– Compatible with version 1.17 of ETS2.

New features in v0.98.5:

– Added more construction sites along the Rv80 road. Some scenery enhancements have been made outside Bodø, including the addition of lamp posts and other elements.
– The new 4-lane Rv80 road between Vikan and Hunstad will be open in v1.0.
– Most country roads have been changed to traditional Norwegian roads, with yellow road stripes replacing the previous white ones.
– Tunnel models for some tunnels have been changed to the ones from the DLC Scandinavia.
– DLC Scandinavia toll stations have been added.
– City limit signs have been changed to Norwegian ones.
– A map overlay sign has been added for the E6 road.
– A new ferry model from DLC SC (Polaris Lines) has been included in Bodø.
– Construction of a toll booth ring in Bodø is currently underway, mirroring real-life development.
– The toll station in Hunstad has been removed, as toll payments are now made towards Bodøtunnelen (Bodø Tunnel) and the other part of Rv80, making it more realistic.
– The toll station before Tverlandet has been removed, as toll payments are now made at the toll station in Vikan, which is connected to Tverlandet Bridge (Tverlandsbrua).
