NORTHERN SCANDINAVIA STANDALONE MAP BETA V0.97 for ETS2
This is an updated version, v0.97, which aims to fix some bugs that have been reported. Here are the bugs that have been fixed from the previous version (v0.961):
- A rock on the road near the tollgate
- Disappearing cars near the Scania truck dealer in Bodoe
- An invisible wall on a bridge outside Fauske
- A lamp post moved to the side of the road near N. Hunstadmoen
- Trees growing in the water at coordinates (4305.83;18.4463;-34574)
- Floating grass at coordinates (-9594.81;-22.3103;-5635.38)
- A missing water/hole in the terrain at coordinates (-9490.46;-24.2036;-5638.51)
- A floating mountain at coordinates (-9593.11;-25.4867;-5849.14)
- A floating rock at coordinates (-3524.39;102.735;-28069.1)
In addition, a new city called Stromsnes (Strømsnes) has been added to the map. There have also been some changes made to the map, including the addition of new companies: Trameri and Posped in Hunstad, eAcres and Lkwlog in Bertnes, and Eurogoodies in Stromsnes.
It is important to note that this map is still a work in progress, so there are some areas that are not yet finished.
As this is a standalone map, it is not compatible with any other map mods, but it should be compatible with other mods, especially graphic mods. It has been tested and found to be compatible with versions 1.15x and 1.16x of Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Here are the instructions for installing the mod:
- If you already have a previous version of my mod installed, replace the files with the new ones.
- Copy and paste the following files into the mod folder, located in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod: NorthernScandinavia-def.scs, tzmap.scs, and NorthernScandinavia-map.scs.
- If you are starting a new profile, create your profile information.
- Activate the following files in the mod manager: NorthernScandinavia-def.scs, tzmap.scs, and NorthernScandinavia-map.scs.
- Set the game module to Test1.mdb, not europe.mdb, to avoid crashes.
