The latest version of the Northern Scandinavia Standalone Map for ETS2, version 0.981 beta, has been released. This version focuses on fixing the intersection between Vikan and Tverlandet Bridge.
Installation:
- Replacing the existing files with the new ones is all that is required to install the mod.
- Ensure that you set the game module on “Test1.mdb” instead of “europe.mdb” to avoid crashes, as this standalone map replaces the original map.
Bugs:
No bugs were discovered in the previous version (v0.98), except for the ones I mentioned myself. These have been fixed in this version.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with 1.16.x versions.
- Not tested on v1.15 due to new prefabs released by FLD.
New features in v 0.981:
- More construction sites added along the Rv80 road, with additional scenery such as lamp posts outside Bodø.
- Fuel station now available at Alstad, located along the Rv80 road leading out of Bodø (not through the Bodø Tunnel).
- The new 4-lane Rv80 road between Vikan and Hunstad will be opened in v1.0 of the map.
New cities:
No new cities have been added in this version (v0.98).
