This mod replaces the horn sound in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2).
To use this mod, you will need the following:
- Xpadder version xx
- 2 keys from your keyboard to play the horn sound for the range TGL
- 1 key from your keyboard to play the trailer brake sound for 0.2 seconds, which activates the split toggle on Xpadder
- A mod like the Peterbilt 389, which can be found on this forum, to edit the horn sound
In Xpadder, you need to set up the following:
- Assign “2” for the horn sound in ETS2 (e.g., E and H keys), and assign “x” for the trailer brake sound
- Use a toggle to switch between two different profiles, such as “H and E” and “H and X”
- In the first profile, set the condition “H+pause 0.2 sec” to automatically stop the horn sound after 0.2 seconds
- Assign “E” to toggle one profile
- Play the split sound by pressing “E” in the second profile
- In the second profile, assign “H” for the same functionality as before, and assign “X” to play the released split sound with a 0.1 second pause
