REALISTIC WEATHER SOUND V1.6 for ETS2

This mod enhances the rain sound effects both inside and outside of the truck. By using this mod, the Rain Probability setting can be maximized, giving you the feeling of actually being inside a truck while it’s raining. Even when using the exterior camera, it’s hard to believe that you’re playing a game. The level of immersion is exceptional, and I say this not just because I’m the creator.

Additionally, this mod slightly amplifies the exterior sound to make it more realistic. Starting from version 1.5, it also includes a more lifelike effect of raindrops on the windshield and side windows. The mod is based on AlterEgos’ Awesome Rain mod, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for discovering the responsible file/lines. It’s important to note that there are different values, effects, and end results that make this mod unique.

It’s worth mentioning that this version of the mod required a significant amount of work, particularly in making the rain sound realistic inside the truck. The raindrops on the windshield and cabin windows now have a more three-dimensional sound. When you hear it, you’ll understand what I mean. The exterior sounds are also more suitable, with the sound of drops falling on the chassis from the cabin, thunder sounds at different distances, and more.

– Enhanced the brightness and definition of exterior rain sound.
– Improved the brightness and definition of interior rain sound.
* Although it may not seem like a substantial change, the difference can be heard, and I believe it brings the sound closer to real life.

– Added a new visual effect of rain on the windshield and side windows, including better water flow, reduced blur and distortion, increased number of drops, and a sense of speed.
