The latest version of the RO Map add-on for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is V2.9.5. This add-on includes the first Romanian city, Oradea, and a road leading to Debrecen. To play this add-on, you will need the DLC Going East! and ETS2 version 1.7.1/1.7.0/1.8.2.5s or any compatible version with the DLC. Please note that this is an ongoing project and more cities will be added in the future as the map expands. Rest assured, the add-on has been thoroughly tested and does not cause any lag or crashes. It also does not require a new profile to be created.
In the previous versions of the RO Map add-on, various improvements and additions were made. In V1.8, the GPS bug between Oradea and Debrecen was fixed, and a new company was introduced in Salonta. V1.9 included fixes for texture issues with corn and the truck dealer in Oradea. Additionally, a new city, Arad, was added with two new companies, Posped and Eurogoodies. New signs were also implemented, along with a road connecting Arad and Salonta.
V2.2 brought yet another new city, Szeged, along with the addition of companies, services, and garages in the area. A road and highway leading to Szeged were also included. V2.4 featured a new road and company in Oradea, Euroacres. The city of Lugoj was introduced, with a road connecting it to Timisoara. Posped company was established in Lugoj as well.
In V2.5, the city of Caransebeș was added with new companies. Lugoj received new indicators, and various scenery and road updates were made. V2.6 continued with new scenery, roads, and the introduction of a new city, Resita. A bug in Caransebes was resolved during this update.
V2.7 focused on resolving bugs in Szeged, Oradea, Resita, and Caransebes. New items were added to these cities, along with new roads between Resita-Caransebes and Resita-Lugoj. A new motorway between Szeged and Budapest was also introduced, along with new models and signs. Changes were made to the coils between Timisoara and Resita.
In the latest version, V2.8, several bug fixes were made, including resolving errors found in the game.log. The territorial organization was improved, and a new town, Deva, was included. New companies, radar, and advertising banners were added to Deva. Roads were also constructed between Arad-Deva and Deva-Lugoj.
V2.9 focused on fixing the GPS bug and introducing a new city in the south of Romania called Drobeta. A new road and signs were also implemented at the border with Hungary. Although there are still some bugs present, they will be addressed in future updates.
The latest version, V2.9.5, features the addition of Craiova as a new city. A big company can be found in Craiova, along with blocked roads and new road infrastructure. Some bugs in Debrecen were also fixed, and new Romanian models were added.
