This is a sound modification for the SCANIA R in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2).
Firstly, I would like to express my utmost respect to Kriechbaum for his brilliant idea in creating the realistic RPM sound. This mod includes two different sounds for the SCANIA R and SCANIA Streamline. If you prefer the SCANIA R sound and don’t want the SCANIA Streamline sound, you can easily remove it by opening the mod with WinRAR and deleting the streamline DEF and SOUND files.
IMPORTANT:
Please ensure that you are using patch version 1.8.2 or higher in order for the mod to work correctly. I apologize if it also works with patch 1.7.0 and later versions, as I cannot recall the exact compatibility. However, attempting to use the mod with an earlier patch may result in a game crash.
