Improved Sound for SCANIA V8 Engines in ETS2

The new version of the sound mod, V2 rev3.2, is now available. To update your current version, simply delete the old one and replace it with this new mod.

ChangeLOG:

In this mod, I have made improvements to the exterior sounds of the trucks. The background whistle sound has been removed, and the sounds for the engine RPM are now longer. The rest of the mod remains the same.

Adjusting the Volume:

If you are not satisfied with the volume of the exterior sound, you can adjust it to your liking. To do this, open the sound mod folder (def/vehicle/truck/scania.50k_r_high/sound/exterior.sii) and find the lines that start with:

pitch_reference: 720

min_rpm: 0.0
max_rpm: 740.0
volume: 0.30 <———————————- Change only this value to adjust the sound of the exterior

You also need to adjust the volume of the exterior exhaust sounds that follow right after the 2000rpm.ogg! You can now adjust the volume according to your preference. It’s not difficult, but don’t forget to make a backup of the mod!

Installation of Road Noise v1.2:
Simply drop the rar file into your mod folder and activate the mod from the game menu. That’s it! Enjoy a better trucking experience with added features such as cab cracking noise and road noise.
