Improved Sounds in SOUND FIXES PACK 12.2 for Euro Truck Simulator 2

** Installation **

This mod should be given higher priority than mods that have a game_data.sii file.
If not, the pack may not work correctly.

** What’s New in v12.2 **

Fine-tuned external suspension sounds

Increased volume for the “Open truck window” optional addon mod

[ETS2 edition] Ported garage music from ATS to ETS2 for in-game garage
[ETS2 edition] Added more “snow on wiper” sounds compatible with various truck mods
for the Frosty Winter Weather SOUND addon

** Features **

1) – Tire / Tyre sounds –
* Realistic sounds that vary depending on your acceleration speed and current speed,
giving a better sense of your speed.

* Heavier gravel sounds when driving on dirt or gravel roads.

2) – Suspension sounds –
* Includes suspension sounds for the cabin, trailer, and tires in addition to tire suspension sounds.

* Light impacts trigger speed bump or irregular road surface suspension sounds
* Medium impacts trigger squeaking of the cabin
* Very hard impacts may trigger the sound of a swinging key

3) – Gameplay and User Interface sounds –
* Replaced “Late music” with the Nokia phone ringtone sound.
Volume of this sound depends on Music volume in Audio settings in-game.

* Added “Bing bong” chime for the train loading screen sound and
ferry loading screen sound.

* Reworked garage door sound and reduced its volume
* Reduced volume of advisor message sound
* Slightly reduced yawn volume for fatigue simulation

4) – Fuel / Gas station sounds –
* Classic/historic ding sound while fuel is pumping
(1960s to 1970s style).

* Real fuel pump, fuel lid sounds, door close, and key insertion sound effect
after refueling to a full tank.

5) – Common truck sounds –

* Mix of stock amplified gear grinding sounds and new gear grinding sounds
that can be heard when the transmission and gearbox have been abused.

* Increased volume for interior stick sounds:
parking brake stick,
blinker stick lever

* Real stick/switch/button sounds for:
parking brake,
hazard light,
blinker / indicator / turn signal,
light switch

* Changed retarder sound to a realistic one

* Added button press sound effect for lift axle

* Real sound effect for trailer coupling, including the sound of
the trailer brakes connecting straight after the fifth wheel coupling

* Installed Driver Alert Support system sound in all trucks
(ETS2 exclusive feature)

6) – AI Traffic sounds –
* New horn sounds for AI traffic vehicles
Short or long honks may be used depending on driver patience.

* More variations of sounds for AI traffic trucks/buses
(turbo, engines, gear changes)

* Slight sound of vehicles overtaking or passing by in the oncoming lane

7) – Environment sounds –
* Wind sounds slightly faster from the cabin at high speeds
* Pattering of rain on the windshield audible inside the truck during heavy rain
* Louder volume and improved audio for biplanes, trains (including train horn),
helicopter, cable cars, and Boeing planes

** Compatibility **
* Compatible with and tested on ETS2 version 1.22.2 and ATS version 1.0.x.
No errors in the game log.

* Compatible with all trucks, including mod trucks.
Does not replace individual truck sounds,
so it can be used with any truck sound mod of your choice.

* Compatible with all maps

* Supports compatibility with Realistic Weather Sound 1.7.4
(provides realistic thunder and exterior rain sounds).
Both mods can be enabled at the same time. Check load order image for
more details.

ETS2: Disable Driver Alert Support sound
ETS2: Frosty Winter Weather Sound addon
ETS2/ATS: Enable police siren sound for pursuit simulation
ETS2/ATS: Open truck window

These options can be found in the Options folder when you download the pack.

Remember to enable the option with higher priority than the Sound Fixes Pack
for the sound to take effect!
