WIND NOISE AT HIGH SPEED Mod

Introduction:

This modification addresses the issue of wind noise that can be heard at high speeds while playing Euro Truck Simulator 2. The noise starts to become noticeable at around 70 km/h and reaches its maximum volume at 115 km/h. The noise is directly related to the sound of the tires. However, since the tire volume remains the same for all trucks, the modification offers three different versions with varying wind and tire volumes to cater to different preferences and to enhance the overall sound experience.

How It Works:

There are three versions included in this modification, each with its own distinct volume level:

• “Wind vol.1” – This version is set up to have a quieter wind noise. It is specifically designed to complement the Scania’s V8 engine sound.
• “Wind vol.2” – This version has a moderate wind noise volume. It is optimized for the Iveco Hi-Way truck.
• “Wind vol.3” – This version has a louder wind noise volume. It is tailored for the Volvo FH, DAF XF Euro6, and Renault Magnum trucks.

Please note that these volume adjustments only apply to the mentioned trucks and do not modify the engine sound in any way.
