The Improved Truck Physics V1.7 is a mod designed for players who desire more realistic and challenging physics in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2). This mod introduces numerous changes to various parameters, involving the behavior of the trucks and drivers.
Key features:
1. Adjusted parameters such as maximum brake temperature, brakes heating/cooling rates, and cabin/wheel masses to conform to real-life values.
2. Enhanced the realism of the fifth wheel by incorporating a roll angle.
3. Tweaked brake efficiency, resulting in reduced overall effectiveness and reduced effectiveness at low speeds. Also increased the maximum brake temperature and warm up/cool down rates.
4. Decreased the effectiveness of retarders.
5. Increased the suspension travel values for both the front and, in certain cases, the rear of vanilla trucks and supported trucks.
6. Reduced truck responsiveness, providing a greater sense of truck mass with slower acceleration, harder braking with and without load, and increased air and rotational wheel resistance.
7. Strengthened the clutch for more realistic clutch-transmission behavior.
8. Decreased tire friction parameters and increased wheel slip factors, resulting in longer brake paths and potential loss of control or wheel slip in certain conditions (such as muddy or wet roads).
9. Adjusted the behavior of cabin and chassis suspension to provide a more dynamic front end during various truck maneuvers.
10. Modified the driver behavior to exhibit slight front-backward-side to side movement during truck maneuvers (less pronounced than previous mod versions).
11. Increased flywheel resistance, causing RPM to drop faster when the truck is not in gear.
12. Decreased engine compression, enabling the truck to lose speed more quickly when no throttle is applied.
13. Increased transmission resistance, resulting in greater losses within the transmission.
14. Enhanced physics for Cabin Accessories DLC, particularly for toys and curtains.
15. Implemented wear factor for engine, transmission, wheels, cabin, and chassis.
16. Adjusted damage coefficients, reducing truck-to-trailer damage but increasing overall damage-per-hit.
17. And various other changes.

Installation instructions:
