BDF TANDEM TRUCK PACK V22.0

The BDF Tandem Truck Pack V22.0 is a modification for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It includes various trucks such as Volvo FH16 2009 and 2012, Scania 2009 and Streamliner, MAN TGX, DAF XF, NEW DAF XF Euro6, Mercedes Actros, Iveco Stralis and Hiway, and Renault Premium and Magnum BDF tandems with trailers and cargo. The latest update, v22.0, includes several improvements and additions.

All trucks now have the option of having a TAGLIFT, in both 6×4 and 8×4 configurations. The wheels have been adjusted to fit properly in the taglift, and the hook has been moved down to prevent it from hitting the storage. The 6×4 and 8×4 configurations have also been tweaked and fixed, with the wheels moved further back. Additional storage has been added to all 8×4 chassis while the wheels were moved back. The lights on the fenders have been removed from both the 8×4 and 6×4 trucks. The gap between the cabin and chassis has been removed as well, although this feature is coming soon. The new 1.14 Cargo system has also been added to all trucks.

The trailers have also been updated. The hook has been moved down to match the new placement on the trucks, and new 25m long trailers have been added for the coolliner.

Specific improvements have been made to certain truck models. For the Volvo FH16 2012, the roof spoiler and driver and co-driver plates have been slightly adjusted. The lights on the Coolliner Cargo and Trailer have been improved, and the coolliner trailer itself has been straightened. Some errors with the EU and UK cabin have also been fixed. The sideskirts have been moved back on the Tandem chassis for the Iveco Stralis, and a brand new truck has been added for the DAF XF Euro6. The sideskirts have been raised on the Tandem chassis for the DAF XF, and the badge has been corrected for the MAN TGX.

The mod credits go to Flemming Vinge, SCS and Blender. The mod is compatible with almost all other mods, although some other truck mods may cause issues. It requires ETS2 v1.14.x or above.

In the game, there are 12 standalone trucks with 4 different trailers. The chassis options include 6×4 Tandem, 8×4 Tandem, 6×4 Tandem (Taglift), and 8×4 Tandem (Taglift). The coolerbox options include Cistern, Chrome, Coolliner, Profiliner, and Universal Tandem (SCS version). There are also additional accessories such as cabin, sideskirts, and exhaust pipes up behind the cabin, as well as letter painted trailer wheels. There are 12 levels to progress through in the mod.

The mod adds 11 standalone trucks with trailers (BDF tandems) and tandem cargo to haul. To drive these trucks, players need to go to their favorite truck dealer and upgrade a truck. They can select the Chassis 8×4 Tandem and add the Coolerbox by selecting the dot just behind the cabin. The trucks can be painted and upgraded with accessories like other stock trucks in the game. Sleeping once or twice in the game will spawn tandem cargo trailers to haul. These trailers allow for hauling about 22 different cargo types, ranging from 18t to 25t.

The mod does not replace any existing models and is standalone. Players can also customize the skin by editing the devil.dds files in their favorite DDS editor. Different types of trailers can also be added separately, such as Profiliner, Universal, and Painted Cistern trailers.

The mod can be downloaded and installed by moving the downloaded file into the “My DocumentsEuro Truck Simulator 2mod” folder. It can then be enabled in the profile edit screen. To uninstall, players can disable the mod in the profile and optionally delete the mod file from the mod folder. However, it is recommended to sell the truck in-game and sleep once or twice to remove the tandem trailer from the game as well.

The mod is free to share, upload, and repost wherever players like. The creator of the mod, Flemming V, encourages players to drive it and experience it for themselves.
